Sorry I’ve been an absent blogger – moving has been exhausting! As of today we’re officially residents of Omaha! We haven’t found a house yet, but we’re looking at a bunch this weekend. I feel like I can actually enjoy the house hunt now that moving is done!

Our Lovestru.ck team had the pleasure of designing and coordinating the Lululemon Grand Opening Party earlier this August. The staff at Lululemon wanted to transform their store into a backyard movie theater, so we created a comfy seating area with colorful floor pillows and a nine foot movie screen as well as a candy bar full of the staff’s favorite treats. We pulled together some great vendors including Patricia Catering and Nostalgia Rentals. The party was a great success, and we had such a fun time working with the staff and getting a sneak peek at all of the amazing running and yoga wear offered at the store.

I couldn’t resist telling everyone that today is my husband’s 26th birthday. Many of you know that Rich’s unwavering patience and ability to live in-the-moment perfectly balances my hectic lifestyle, but a lot of you don’t know that Rich is the main reason I started Lovestru.ck and left my job as a front-end developer. He gave me the confidence I needed to take the biggest risk of my life, and each day I get to do what I love because I know I have the best support system constantly by my side. He’s there for each milestone and celebration, but most importantly he’s there to comfort me for every bump in the road.
Richard, I love you very much, and I’m so lucky that we have a lifetime of adventures ahead of us. Happy Birthday!
