We’re so honored to be featured in The Daily Meal’s 50 States, 50 Event Planners Article. Here’s an excerpt from the article:

As I was designing our new website a few months ago, something wasn’t working as I played with the design in photoshop. I realized our logo didn’t match the new style/aesthetic I was trying to achieve with the website and the Lovestru.ck brand as a whole. I loved how the logo looked like a signature (the “ck” in Lovestru.ck stands for my initials), but it felt bulky and a little too whimsical. With the help of Liz White and the amazing hand-lettering skills of Lauren from A Fabulous Fete, we came up with the logo/patterns/colors seen above in our brand board.
I’m incredibly happy with the end result, but how did we get there…? The process is actually very similar to how we design weddings and events. This past summer as I was dreaming of the new website and collateral for Lovestru.ck, I developed a mood board (see below). The board includes images with specific examples of color and design as well as images that evoke the fresh, sophisticated, feminine, and natural mood/feelings we want to achieve. By comparing every design to our mood board, we were able to make sure the final logo was consistent with our new brand.

Liz and Jason are a beautiful and genuine couple. They dated throughout high school at Westside and colleget at TCU, so after many years together, their families were anxiously waiting the arrival of a proposal and a wedding.
As you can tell from her stunning dress, Liz has great personal style. I had the pleasure of taking her polished and chic ideas and transforming them into her dream wedding. Along with concepting the floral arrangements and overall aesthetic, we created some fun stationery items such as the wood-mounted menus and hanging place cards. Once again, Mark from Shamrock & Thistle blew me away by flooding the head table with purple blooms and arranging Liz’s perfect peony bridal bouquet.

We’ve had a busy week prepping for the site launch, so I’m excited for a little downtime the next two days. Have a lovely weekend. See you on Monday!
Here
I have been working on updating our website and brand image for the past few months. I knew we needed a fresh and sophisticated logo and website that would compliment our design style and the experience we provide our clients. I’ll post more about our new logo in the next few weeks, but I wanted to share the new features and look of our website with all of your first.
I wanted to website to look clean, natural, and feminine. Here’s an image of the homepage:
Our services page includes all of the information about our new wedding packages.
I love our new portfolio page too. It includes images of some of our favorite projects as well as testimonials from our clients.
Our blog needed a lot of work. I wanted to include more social media interaction, so I added the Instagram feed on the sidebar and Pinterest hover buttons on all of the images.
Please explore the website. We hope you like it!
