In the meantime, if you’re looking to gain experience in the event industry, we recommend looking for jobs/internships in hospitality, at an event rental company, or at catering company. These jobs/learning opportunities can introduce you to some fantastic local vendors and teach you about problem solving in the event industry.
Internships
Each year we bring on 3-4 interns to assist in wedding production. Internships usually last between mid-March through October (depending on intern availability)! Interns have the opportunity to learn about event coordination/production and can earn school credit if requested.
Requirements:
- Availability on one-two afternoons a week to work in our office
- Availability on Saturdays for event production
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- High level of creativity
Duties Include:
- Office organization and decor/supplies management
- Design project resourcing
- Crafting, crafting, crafting!
- Shipping assistance
- Basic errand running
- Day-of wedding production assistance
