Katie and Justin, a graphic artist and a mixed-media artist respectfully, wanted a wedding that celebrated their artistic style coupled with their love for all things vintage and eclectic.
The couple married at the Holland Performing Arts Center. This venue offered crisp, urban modernism with large windows, glass stairs, and unique lines. The bride wore a lace BHLDN gown paired with vintage-inspired gloves. As an ode to Justin’s profession, the groom hand-painted a 30 foot aisle runner for the ceremony. Months later, the newlyweds cut-up the runner and framed the pieces as gifts to the wedding party. The aisle was decorated with white stands holding lush floral arrangements. The altar was placed in front of a gorgeous Jun Kaneko ‘Dango’ sculpture.”
